Taken with a wide-angle lens up close, the closest blossoms are enlarged dramatically, while the most distant ones are minimized, adding a greater feeling of depth and drama to the composition. At places near the periphery, the flowers of other plants add complimentary splashes of color. This image was taken in the garden of Elaine Hutson, Corbett, Oregon.
