Two Tailed Jay Butterflies (Graphium agamemnon). In this lovely vertical composition, two vibrantly-colored and intricately-patterned Tailed Jay butterflies hold the stage, their bright yellow-green and black wings contrasting with both the green foliage and the dark background, which is out-of-focus so as to better isolate the subject. The foreground butterfly is well in focus, while the background butterfly is out of focus, yet is recognizable enough to provide more than a hint of atmosphere and continuity.
