Plumeria Flower Petal on Plumeria Leaf- Kauai- Hawaii. In this horizontal composition, a stunning purple plumeria petal stands in stark color contrast to the deep green leaf of the plumeria plant. This contrast is enhanced by the mixed light and shadow in the scene, with sunlight brightening the petal. The photo was taken with a special soft focus lens which retains the detail in the texture of the petal and leaf, yet lends a softness and glowing light to the entire image.
